Calica Private Zodiac Snorkeling Eco-Tour

Our Brand NEW (June 2006) 29ft custom built inflatable zodiacs were designed and build for up to 12 passengers.  Equipped with top of the line twin 250 hp Suzuki outboard engines, this "ATV of the Sea"  can literally fly along the coastline.  Keep in mind this is a custom tour and you set the pace if you are looking for a more leisurely ride.  Your comfort and safety is always our main concern.

After a quick briefing with your Captain we put the throttle down and head for an amazing secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling.  This stop offers a private and expansive beach

Next we journey into a quiet inlet where you will have the opportunity to swim in cool, clear, spring waters that meet the sea. (known as a "caleta")  This sweet water swim is revitalizing and unique.  Its a beautiful place to snorkel and a very unique experience.  A small Mayan ruin adds to allure of this stop.

The Mexican Mayan Riviera offers some of the finest beach communities in the world.  Our tour will take you back in time to a sleepy seaside village of Akumal, now a popular tourist attraction for those wanting to get away from the busy tourist centers.

Akumal is known for its excellent diving and snorkeling.  It is protected by a reef which insures calm waters year round and is home to many turtles and abundant in tropical fish.

The beautiful cove of Akumal is also a great beach stop as there is a nice beach front restaurant which serves authentic Mexican cuisine and great margaritas! (lunch is optional and not include in the tour price)

Whether you are looking for the ultimate family adventure or secluded beaches to sunbath topless. This tour will give you the freedom to spend your day on the Mayan Riviera the way you want to.

At the end of your private boat excursion we jump back on board for our final blast back to the marina for a farewell drink and photos.  Our tour times are at 10am and 2pm and can be modified to fit any cruise ship schedule.

Standard tour time is up to 4 hours.  Our captain is flexible and open to any suggestions you have.  After all, this is your Private Adventure.  Please reserve early!  We have only 2 boats available and space therefore is limited.  If your group is larger then 12 passengers, let us know as we can run the two boats together for up to 24 passengers!
